Through historically known for its coffee-table style publication and networking events, the organization has evolved into a multimedia company rooted in empowering and activating its unparalleled community of African American professionals. Beyond the Ball is a continuation of this tradition.

Beyond The Ball Live

Beyond the Ball is an ongoing conversation challenging us to look beyond the sizzle of sports and delve into the broader impact on the community. It brings together a mix of former elite athletes, executives, and other professionals to talk about they achieved success in business, politics, the nonprofit section, and beyond, highlighting the substantial impact of their off-the-field actions on our communities and culture.

The first Beyond the Ball conversation will occur February 2022 in Cleveland, Ohio, leading up to the NBA All-Star Weekend.

Join us for a live fireside chat-style experience with an esteemed panel discussing how they’ve maintained success beyond their athletic prime.
